It is known to provide a packing element comprising a docking station adapted to receive a nomadic electronic device, or mobile, such as a mobile user terminal, a mobile phone, a smartphone (or "smartphone"), a digital tablet Or other.
Such a docking station is advantageously arranged to leave visible the screen of the nomadic electronic device so that the display remains visible to the occupants of the vehicle. To do this, the docking station makes it possible to hold the electronic device by two of its opposite sides by means of two holding elements while the body of the electronic device extends on a base extending between the two holding elements.
So that the device remains visible, the base and the holding elements are necessarily also arranged in a visible area of the passenger compartment of the vehicle, for example on the dashboard when the packing element forms all or part of this board on board.

With reference to FIG. 1, there is described a packing element 1 forming, in the embodiment shown in this figure, a vehicle dashboard. However, it is understood that the invention is not limited to a dashboard and can be applied to other vehicle lining elements, for example a door panel, the lining of a central console, a seat or other. The packing element 1 comprises a docking station 2 of a mobile electronic device 4, for example a mobile user terminal, a mobile phone, a smartphone (or "smartphone"), a digital tablet or other. In the case of a dashboard, the docking station is for example arranged between the two front seats of the vehicle, in an accessible and visible space for the two front passengers of the vehicle, as shown in FIG. 1.
The docking station 2 comprises a base 6 extending between a first holding element 8 and a second holding element 10.
The base 6, on which the nomadic electronic device 4 is intended to extend when it is received by the docking station 2, is for example formed by an external surface of the packing element, that is to say that is to say by a surface facing the passenger compartment of the motor vehicle and visible from this cabin when no nomadic electronic device 4 is received by the docking station 4, as shown in FIG. 1.
Alternatively, the base 6 is formed by an element, such as a plate, attached to and attached to the outer surface of the lining element.
The first holding element 8 and the second holding element 10 project from the outer surface of the packing element so as to form jaws able to hold together the nomadic electronic device 4 when it is received. on the base 6, as shown in Figs. 2 and 3 and as will be described later.
The first and the second holding elements 8 and 10 extend substantially parallel on either side of the base 6, principally in a direction A substantially perpendicular to the direction B, according to which the first and second holding elements 8 and 10 are separated from each other, as shown in FIG. 1.
Each holding element 8 and 10 comprises an edge 12 extending facing the edge 12 of the other holding element, adapted to be pressed against a side 14 of the contour of the nomadic electronic device 4 so that when a nomadic electronic device 4 is received on the base 6, the edges 12 of the first holding element 8 and the second holding element 10 bear against two opposite sides 14 of the contour of the nomadic electronic device 4, as shown in Figs. 2 and 3.
The first holding element 8 is movable with respect to the base 6 and with respect to the second holding element 10 so as to allow adjustment of the spacing in the direction B between the first and the second holding elements 8 and 10. Thus, by moving the first holding element 8, the dimension of the base 6 in the direction B can be adjusted to the distance separating the two opposite sides 14 of the contour of the nomadic electronic device 4. The docking station 2 is therefore adaptable to different types of nomadic electronic device 4 having different dimensions or allows to receive the same electronic device in different orientations. By way of example, the docking station 2 shown in FIG. 2 receives an electronic device 4 in a "landscape" orientation, that is to say, it maintains the electronic device 4 by its two sides 14, and the docking station shown in FIG. 3 receives an electronic device 4 in a "portrait" orientation, that is to say, it maintains the electronic device 4 by its lower and upper sides 14. The dimension of the edges 12 of the first and second holding elements 8 and 10 according to the direction A in which they extend is also adapted to allow the maintenance of electronic devices in different orientations or of different sizes, in particular to allow both the maintenance of a mobile phone and that of a tablet for example.
According to the embodiment shown in the figures, the first holding element 8 is displaceable in translation in the direction B to allow it to be moved away from or closer to the second holding element 10. For example, the station of FIG. home 2 comprises two grooves 16 extending, in the direction of movement of the first holding member 8, that is to say in the direction B, along the edges of the base 6 separated one of the Another in the direction A. The second holding element 10 is fixed relative to the base 6 and relative to the rest of the packing element 1.
According to the embodiment shown in the figures, the first holding element 8 forms the lower edge of the base 6 and the second holding element forms the upper edge of the base 6. It is however understood that the first holding element could forming the upper edge or a lateral edge of the base and that the second holding member could form the lower edge or the other side edge of the base.
In order to improve the appearance and functionality of the docking station 2, the outer surface of the first holding member 8, i.e. its vehicle-facing surface extending from the edge 12 of the first holding element 8, carries at least one control element 18 and / or a display device 20 of at least one function of the vehicle in which the packing element 1 is mounted. By function of the vehicle is meant any function for controlling or giving information on a system incorporated in the vehicle other than a function related to the mobile electronic device 4 received by the docking station 2. That is that is to say that the control element 18 and / or the display device 20 are not related to the operation of the nomadic electronic device 4 but to the operation of another system incorporated in the vehicle. The display device 20 is for example a screen for displaying information on what diffuses the sound system or on the temperature in the passenger compartment of the vehicle or the like.
According to the embodiment shown in the figures, the first holding element 8 comprises several control elements 18 and a display device 20 linked to one or more functions of the vehicle. The display device 20 is for example able to switch between the display of information related to a function and information related to another function of the vehicle. Alternatively or additionally, several display devices 20 may be provided.
Thus, the first holding element 8 has a functional aspect related to a function other than that of maintaining a mobile electronic device 4, which makes this element useful even when no electronic device is received on the station. 2. In this way, when the docking station 2 is not used, it does not constitute an empty space of no interest to the passengers of the vehicle. The general appearance of the packing element 1 is thus improved, more particularly when no electronic device is received by the docking station 2.
The control element or elements 18 and the display device 20 are connected to the vehicle electronics so as to enable their connection to the other elements making it possible to carry out the function or functions controlled by this or these elements 18 and / or whose information are displayed by the display device 20.
Alternatively or additionally, and as more particularly visible in FIG. 1, a display device 22 is provided on the base 6 between the first holding element 8 and the second holding element 10 so that this display device 22 is visible only when no electronic device 4 is in use. is received by the docking station 2. This display device is for example a clock, a temperature indicator, or other. Thus, the outer surface of the base 6, which is usually a space left empty when the station is not in use, retains a utility when no apparatus is received by the docking station 2.
According to one embodiment, the information displayed by the display device 22 is transmitted to the electronic device 4 when it is received by the docking station 2. This information is then displayed on the screen. of the electronic device 4 so that the information or remain visible to the passengers of the vehicle even when the display device 22 is hidden by the electronic device 4. This or these information is for example displayed in a strip occupying a part of the screen of the electronic device 4 or on the entire screen thereof. Alternatively or additionally, the second holding member 10 may be confused with a functional or decorative member further provided on the packing member.
